Artist Statement:

Meet Vrinda, a freshman at the University of Washington studying biology. Her work focuses on illustrating characters surrounded by thematic details like food, flowers, and everyday objects to create cohesive, flowing compositions. She primarily works with alcohol markers, often combining them with colored pencils and watercolor to build soft color palettes and dreamy textures. She especially enjoys rendering eyes and detailed hair shading to give my characters a bright, lively feeling.
